On October 11, the Men's Cross Country team ran their second 8k of the season at St. Patrick's Park in South Bend, IN, for the 2024 Bethel Invitational, hosted by Bethel University. Spring Arbor took first with 27 points, Goshen and Governor's State claimed 2nd and 3rd. The Archers placed 9th out of the 10 teams, and improved their team average by 59 seconds.

Junior Kevin Drake finished first for the Archers with a time of 31:15, 8-minutes and 51 seconds faster than his 8k PR last month. Junior Nate Brant was close behind in 31:18, also setting a PR by 50-seconds since last race. David Kettel was next in 32:58, Will Hartke in 33:01, and Josiah Berni in 34:02.

The Archers will compete next at the NCCAA North/Midwest Regional Championship hosted by Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, IA. The 8k race will take place at 5:00pm at the Dubuque Soccer Comp.
