Men’s Cross Country Competes at Concordia University XC Classic

The Archers competed in their first 8k at the Ken Weidt Classic, hosted by Concordia University in Wisconsin. The team placed 10th out of 13 teams, with the Milwaukee School of Engineering taking first with 30 points, Wisconsin-La Crosse claiming second, and Lawrence third.

Junior Nate Brant led the Archers with a time of 32:08, followed by Josiah Berni (32:30), Will Hartke (32:50), David Kettel (33:13), Silas McCormick (36:42).

Coach Troy Fichter: "I am proud of the team's effort, especially with being a warm day and the first 8k of the year. This young team has a lot of potential and has room for improvement as they get more racing experience."

The Archers' next competition will be on Friday, October 11th, at the Bethel Invitational, hosted by Bethel University. The men's race will start at 3:15 p.m. (EST) at St. Patrick's Park in South Bend, Indiana.
