This past Saturday the Archers played a newer Kuyper College Basketball team in a regional matchup. And although Kuyper has just recently started their athletic program back up, they have been competing at a high level in many sports, especially basketball.

The Archers started the game ice cold, shooting 0-15 from 3 in the first half and scoring a mere 16 points. Nothing was working on offense, but they still managed to play relatively good defense, limiting Kuyper to 39. The next half was much better, as Moody scored 33, but the lead was too great. They lost 49-73. The Archers shot a total of 2-25 from 3 point land. If they would have shot their usual 30%, they may have came away with the dub.

This was the last game before break, but the team is grateful for time to improve on some of their weaknesses. They will be back to play 6 games at home in the spring. Go Archers!
