On Wednesday March 1st our Moody Archer Basketball team travelled to the great land of Iowa to play in the NCCAA North Regional Tournament. They matched up against #6 in the region Central Christian College of the Bible who was 11-18 going into the tournament.

The Archers played hard, keeping it 28-29 at half and tying it up 43-43 with 14 minutes left in the second half. Ian Reed started hot, leading the Archers scoring in the first half with 19 points. This was followed by a great second half from Christian Pollard with 15 points. But these efforts were sadly not enough to stop the Central Christian Saints in the last 10 minutes. The Saints started to catch momentum, getting rebounds and forcing tough shots, and were able to seal the game 87-59.

This game marks the end of the season for the Archers. It was a tough year with injuries and changing rosters, but each player worked hard till the end and saw big improvements thoughout the season.
