
The Lady Archers competed in the NCCAA North/Midwest Regional Championship, which was hosted by Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa.
The Archers placed second out of the six teams, with Crown College taking first with 23 points, Moody (64 points) followed by Emmaus Bible College with 83 points.
Sophomore Kassidy Kleinheksel finished first for the Archers and 10th overall with a time of 22:31, followed by Junior Rebekah Berni (23:25), Freshman Katie Morden (23:38), Sophomore Cora Muller (24:09), Junior Judy Jang (24:20), and Freshman Felicity Severs (24:34).
Coach Troy Fichter: "The team is improving overall and new ladies are stepping up with other ladies dealing with injuries."
The Lady Archers will compete next at the Red/White Open Invitational, hosted by North Central College, on Thursday, November 7th. The 3-mile race will take place at 4 p.m. at St. James Farm in Warrenville, IL.
