ELMHURST, IL – The Moody Bible Institute Women's Cross-Country Team ran well at the Elmhurst College Early Bird Invitational, placing 4^th out of the 12 teams present. The Archers have 8 returning athletes and have welcomed 3 new lady Archers to the team. 

"The team looks very promising," said Coach Troy, "with all runners doing a great job and kicking strong at the end". Moody's own, Summer Pierson, placed 3^rd overall, and the team average time dropped 43 seconds per girl from last year's run at the Elmhurst Early Bird Invitational.

The lady Archers will be traveling to the Concordia Ken Weidt Classic in Mequon, Wisconsin this Saturday for their next meet.
