Anais Deac brings extensive volleyball playing experience to her role as Moody's assistant women's volleyball coach. After playing volleyball for four years in high school, Coach Anais played two seasons at Oakton Community College in suburban Chicago, serving as a libero and defensive specialist. She then played the last two seasons for Moody, starting at libero and later at outside hitter in 2022 and as starting setter in 2023. Coach Anais earned scholar-athlete honors from the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) during her final season for Moody, a designation awarded to student-athletes who excelled in the classroom and on the court. A 2024 graduate of Moody Theological Seminary, she paced the Archers in assists and helped the team reach the semifinals of the NCCAA Midwest Region tournament. Outside of volleyball, Coach Anais works as a supervisor in the Finance Department at Moody and is a native of the Windy City.
