Tonight was a night to remember!
Moody's women's volleyball team played their hearts out in honor of their co-captain, Joy Marquardt, who is currently battling cancer. The Lady Archers came out aggressive, establishing an early lead and maintaining it throughout the first set, winning 25-13. At the start of the second set, the Archers refused to let up and made it clear they were determined to win. The Archers were patient but dominant with their attacks, helping them win the second set 25-16. The third set was similar to the first two; the Archers proceeded to carry out and execute their game plan, finishing the job and proclaiming victory 25-12, completing a full sweep for a match score of 3-0!
The Archers will have a little bit of a break until October 19th, where they will play against Grace Christian University at the Solheim Center!
