
The third time facing Kuyper was anything but a charm as the Archers fell 84-65 to the third-seeded Cougars of Kuyper College. Moody travelled to Lansing, Michigan for the second time within a week and faced Kuyper (13-15, 7-3) for the third time this season. All three of the contests were competitive as Moody played hard once gain but came up short in the end. "I am proud of my guys. They show up every day and work hard in practice and give everything they got in the games," stated Moody Coach Jack Jordan. The Archers finished the 2024-25 season with an overall record of 3-20 and were winless, at 0-10 in Midwest Region Play. Jordan continues, "It shows a lot of character and commitment for young men to experience the type of losses are guys endured and keep coming back day after day and playing hard and enthusiastic basketball. I am very excited for these guys and the future of our program.
Freshman forwards Joshua Bartig led the way for Moody again hitting 9 of 20 shots for 20 points and grabbed a team-high 8 rebounds to go along with 4 assists and 4 steals. Senior guard Jermaine "Mook" Humphrey closed out his collegiate career scoring in double figures with 10 points, junior forward Demorion Jackson chipped in 9 points and 4 rebounds, and senior forward Donovan Wright added 8 points.
