"I looked at the scoreboard in the waning minutes of the first half and we trailed by only four points'" stated Moody Coach Jack Jordan. He continues, "I remember how pleased I was that we were performing at a high level. A few minutes later when the halftime horn sounded, we were down 15. My guys played very hard again tonight and did a lot of things right. We are clearly making progress. First, we must learn how to compete consistently, then we must learn how to finish a game."
Junior forward Demorion Jackson led the way for Moody with 12 points and grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds. Senior Captain Tre Walker netted 11 and freshmen forward Joshua Bartig 10. Junior forward Sherman Etienne came off the bench and gave the Archers a lift with a thunderous dunk, a blocked shot while scoring four points and grabbing 6 rebounds. Sophomore guard Jeremiah Martin came off the bench and hit a couple of three pointers on his way to an 8 point performance. Senior forward Donovan Wright grabbed 7 rebounds and chipped in 4 points.
