
The shots would not fall for the home team this afternoon. The Archers shot 22-72 from the floor (.30) and 4-21 (.19%) from beyond the three-point line. Grace opened up a 26-point halftime lead 47-21. Moody played and shot a little better in the second half but not enough to get back in the game.
Junior forward Demorion Jackson led all scorers with 17 points, connecting on 7-10 from the foul line and grabbing a game-high 13 rebounds. Sophomore guard Aaron Stewart and senior guard Jermaine Humphrey scored in double figures with 11 and 10 points respectively. Stewart also captured 10 rebounds.
Moody will be on the road in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Tuesday for another Midwest Region game against Kuper.
