Using a stingy defense and an up-tempo style of play, the Archers ran by the visitors from West Virginia. Moody led by 16 at the half. A lead they would not relinquish pulling away in the second half to secure the 29-point victory. The Archers displayed a balanced attack with every player contributing to the win. Freshman forward Joshua Bartig led all scores with 20 points and also grabbed a game-high 8 rebounds. Sophomore guard Aaron Stewart also scored in double figures with 10 points while grabbing 4 rebounds and collecting 3 steals. Junior guard Cameron Scott chipped in 9 points and Senior captain Tre Walker 8. Junior forward Demorion Jackson tallied 6 points and grabbed 6 rebounds while Senior forward Donovan Wright dished out a game-high 6 assists, grabbed 5 rebounds, and tallied 4 points. The Archers will continue their homestand hosting Region-rival Maranatha Baptist this Saturday at 2:00pm in the Solheim Center.
