The Archers basketball team kicked off the season with a packed weekend!

On Friday November 1, the Archers traveled to Whiting Indiana and played against Calumet College of St. Joseph. Calumet took a quick lead in the game, having a 27 point lead in the first half. Ending the night with Calumet taking the win 111-67. Senior Tre Walker lead the Archers with 18 points, followed by senior Donvan Wright with 16 points. 

The following day on Saturday, the Archers went back to Calumt, to take on St. Ambrose University. The Bees led with 36-29 at the frist half. As the scond half began, the gap was at 45-40 six minutes into the half. But St. Ambrose took back control, winning the game 76-51. Freshman Joshua Bartig led the archers with 13 points and Jounior Demorion Jackson with 11 rebounds. 

The Archers will next take on Dayspring Bible Collge on November 5, at the Solheim center!
