The Lady Archers joined a field of 131 runners this past Saturday and completed their 2nd race of the season at the Warrior Invitational. The race was hosted by Wisconsin Lutheran College, and the 6-kilometer course looped through the woods and fields of Greenfield Park. The top college team was St. Norbert ladies followed by Carroll University.

Freshman Kassidy Kleinheksel finished first for the Archers in 28:36. Freshman Lilly Holtan was next with a 29:52, followed by Rebekah Berni (30:14) and Rachel Wilson (32:30).

Coach Troy Fichter: "The 4 ladies that ran showed great effort even though it was a hot and humid day. We are looking forward to getting more ladies back for next week's meet."

The Lady Archers will compete in their first 5k of the season on Friday, October 6th, at the Bethel Invitational hosted by Bethel University. The race will take place at 2:30pm(EST) at St. Patrick's Farm in South Bend, Indiana.
