The Lady Archers competed at the NCCAA Division II National Championship race in Warsaw, Indiana on November 10.
Bob Jones took first with 39 points, while Grace Christian and Crown College finished 2nd and 3rd. The Lady Archers took 6th place out of 7 of WXC teams.
Freshman Kassidy Kleinheksel finished first for the Archers with a 22:04, Junior, Rebekah Berni (Personal Record) with a 22:35 followed Freshman, Lilly Holtan, 23:51, Senior, Hailey Childress, 24:46 and Senior, Rachel Wilson (Personal Record) with a 24:53.
Coach Troy Fichter: The 5 ladies that represented Moody at Nationals did a great job! The 2 freshmen had solid times for being their first National Championship and the 3 upperclassmen either tied their PR or set a new Personal Record! The team faced a lot of difficulties this year with sickness, injuries, and other life situations but I was happy we could have 5 finishers at Nationals so we could have a team score!
