The Archers competed in their last regular meet of the season on Thursday at the Red/White Open Invite hosted by North Central College. Washington University took first as a team with 27 points, followed by the host team, North Central.
Kassidy Kleinheksel came in first for the Archers, covering the 3-mile course in 20:44, followed by Aliyah Mead who ran a strong first race of the season in 22:10. Also great efforts from Rebekah Berni (22:16), Lilly Holtan (23:05), Hailey Childress (23:45), Rachel Wilson (23:53), and Alejandra Ponce Tejada (26:22).
The Lady Archers will finish out their season on November 10th, at the NCCAA Division II Nationals event hosted by Bethel University and Grace College. The WXC team will race at 11:45am (EST) at the Warsaw Community High School Cross Country Course in Warsaw, IN.
