The Lady Archers competed at the NCCAA Division II National Championship race in Joplin, Missouri on November 11.

Bob Jones took first with 29 points, North Central University took second in 65 with Moody?s Lady Archers coming in 3rd with 84 points followed by Maranatha Baptist University and Emmaus Bible College.

Mollie Hansen finished first for the Archers in 21:17 and setting a Moody personal record, Senior, Leyda Gabriel PR?d with a 21:47 followed Freshman, Bethany Dressen, who missed her PR by 1 second with a 23:11. The following 6 lady Archers all set PR?s, Aliyah Mead 23:23, Ruby Gentz 23:48, Taylor Nederveld 23:53, Rebekah Berni 24:15, Kaitlyn Rivera 26:54 and Cora Linsley 27:03.

?This year?s national team was a young team that was led by our two veteran XC runners, Mollie Hansen and Leyda Gabriel. God blessed the team with a great showing at Nationals and this team even exceeded my expectations on what they could do at Nationals! Even though it will be hard to see Mollie and Leyda move on, I am really excited to see this group improve in the off season!? Coach Troy Fichter
