The Lady Archers went to St. Patrick’s Park in South Bend, IN to compete in the Bethel Invitational. The team faced 15 strong teams from around the region and completed the race right before a rainstorm rolled in.
Freshman Hannah Branson was first for the Archers, completing the course in 22:53 followed by Leyda Gabriel and KC Moreno with times of 24:05 and 24:17. Indiana Wesleyan took first place with Grace College in taking 2nd place. The Lady Archers made ground in their pacing strategies and hope to keep improving.
The Lady Archers will compete at Regionals, held in Ankeny, Iowa at Faith Baptist Bible College on October 23rd. The team hopes to get back to full strength with the return of three teammates who were unable to compete at the Bethel Invitational.
