The Moody Archers Women?s Cross Country team had their first meet on Friday September 3rd at Elmhurst University. Freshman Hannah Branson led the pack for Moody and finished with a 4k time of 17:56 and a mile pace time of 7:13. The Elmhurst Blue Jays were able to defend their home turf and get first place at the invite while the young Archers team finished in 9th overall. ?I was very happy with the effort I saw from the ladies! Most of the team is new to Cross Country but all of them show great potential to be able to improve as the season progresses.? Said head coach Troy Fichter.
