Moody Archers Take a Day Trip to Maranatha

Moody Archers Take a Day Trip to Maranatha

This past Saturday the Archers travelled north to Watertown, Wisconsin to play the Sabercats of Maranatha right on the heels of their Friday night loss to Mount Mary, also from Wisconsin. But this matchup was not the first time these two teams have met--exactly a week ago the Archers and Sabercats played each other as a part of the triangular hosted by Moody. They lost 3 sets to 0, and sadly, this meeting was not any different.

What became evident in these two games is that the Archers are doing their best to adjust to a missing setter, but they have not found a way to do it efficiently yet. The Archers played a total of 6 sets against Maranatha and in their best set, which was the first, they scored 16 points.

In light of the post-season nearing closer and closer, the Archers will need to iron out the rinkles if they want to advance in their region. They will play newly-founded Justice College this week on Wednesday in hopes for a turn-around win. See you there and Go Archers!
