This past Thursday the Moody Archers travelled north to play the Mount Mary Blue Angels in Milwaukee, WI. They were met by Brianna Ecker, a record-breaking Blue Angel, along with the rest of Mount Mary's sound team. They played well as a team, but the Archers fell 3 sets to 1.

The first two sets were filled with exciting volleyball. Out of the gate the Archers and Angels battled for a combined 50 points, Mount Mary taking the first. The second set was similar with both teams scoring a combined 48 points, but the Archers came away with the set led by Sophie S. and accompanied with great setting from Anias D. 

After this hard fought set, the Archers seemed to run out of energy, losing the next two sets 11-25 and 15-25. 

The Archers come back home to play in their triangular against Maranatha and Grace Christian this Saturday. Go Archers!
