Tuesday night there was energy in the Solheim gym as Moody hosted Dayspring Bible College for their second battle this season. The Archers managed to keep Dayspring from a set, winning 3-0, but the score is not telling as to how tense the match really was.

The first set was pretty easy for the Archers. They won the set 25-12 after getting a hot start from some costly errors on Dayspring's side. But the sets after were not so easy--the Archers outscored Daysping by 4 points in the second set and in a nailbiting last set Moody won by a mere 2 points. The crowds from both sides were heavily invested in the game, especially in the last set.

Overall, the Archers played some really good volleyball, connecting on a lot of dig-set-kill possessions. They were rarely caught off-guard by Dayspring, and when they were, they were able to rally themselves and keep playing how they know to play. The leaders of the team stepped up and the team as a whole looked unified on and off the court. 

With this game as a stepping stone, the Archers should feel confident going up against Emmaus Bible College this Friday at home. If you can, show up and give Moody an overwhelming home-crowd advantage. GO ARCHERS!
