This was the Lady Archers very first away game and we were a bit nervous to start. We have 4 amazing Freshman starting and in the lineup, so we're constantly seeking to gel as a team. As time went on, our team began to improve and pick up, but we're still committing more unforced errors than we desire to commit. Our scores grew closer and closer to our opponent’s. We may have left this game with a loss but we took a lot of data to improve our next game. Two good take aways was to learn how to read their offense better and to be better prepared in defense much earlier. Lastly, the necessity of improving our block touches to slow down attacks. This game was our first go-around with a rotation that many of our freshman have never played before. It's an uncommon lineup, so this was definitely a growth opportunity for us.
