The Archers fell short in their home opener against the Blackburn College Beavers. The Beavers got out to a quick 2 goal lead in the first 15 minutes of the match but the Archers were able to hold them off until the second half. The Archers could them hold them off in the second as they suffered a 3-0 loss. One bright spot for the Archers was their keeper. Sophmore Caleb Whiting was able to deter 11 shots on goal from the Beavers. The Archers next game is on Wednesday September 7th at Eureka College.
