The Moody Archers Men's Soccer team won their first game at Nationals last night against Pensacola Christian 2-1! Riley Brown had a corner kick, scoring our first goal, about 10 minutes into the game. In the second half of the game, Nick Gaviria shot a penalty kick which scored our second goal.

 

Coach Jon says, "I am so pleased with the guys and the result from the match. Certainly not our most polished performance but I’m so pleased to get a win against last year’s National Champions. Pensacola are a top notch program and a quality team, so the guys have so much to be proud of."

 

The Moody Archers will compete next against Grace Christian University, who has yet to play any teams in the tournament, at 7:30pm (EST) tonight (November 18th).
