Game One of Big Four Tournament Ends in 96-61 Loss for Archers

The Archers started off the Big Four Tournament this weekend against Lincoln Christian University. The Moody Archers were forceful with the ball despite 96-61 loss.

"It was a disappointing game for us," Coach Scott said, "We came out and executed our game plan well in the first half. Unfortunately, we learned that basketball is a game of two halves. I'm hopeful we can improve our effort and focus going forward. The guys can use times like this to grow stronger in the faith and trust in one another. Challenges and roadblocks are opportunities to improve in basketball and life. This will make us better."

Senior, Aaron Roser (23) led in scoring for the Archers with his 16 points.  Junior, Keynan Carter (11) and Sophmore, LJ Linder (10) both scored 14 for Moody.

Keynan Carter (11), Bobby Kirpas (20), and Kristian Stultz stayed active under the basket both offensively and defensively, and they came away with a collective 30 rebound for the game.

The Archers will finish off the Big Four Tournament tomorrow at 1 pm against North Park University.
