Moody Bible Too Much For Men's Soccer On Senior Day

LANSING, Mich. - Great Lakes Christian College men's soccer (1-13, 0-6) could not keep up with NCCAA D-II #6 Moody Bible Institute (6-5) on Saturday, losing 11-0 on Senior Day.

Senior Bonny Kibuuka was honored before the game with a brief ceremony and a jersey presentation by head coach Ian Kurth. Kibuuka missed the game with injury.

The shorthanded Great Lakes side held serve with the visiting Archers in the first 45 minutes, trailing 2-0 at the break, led by Jordan Harrison's 12 saves.

The team could not keep it up in the second half, however, conceding seven goals in the first 17 minutes of the second half en route to an 11-0 loss.

Great Lakes managed no shots in the game, while Moody took 37, including 28 on frame.

Up Next: Great Lakes will close out its season on Wednesday against rival Grace Christian University, ranked #3 in NCCAA D-II.
