Coach Choy returns for his seventh season at Moody (2013-2015 and 2020-present). During his previous tenure at Moody, Coach Choy led the Lady Archers to the NCCAA Midwest Region championship match in both 2014 and 2015, and was named NCCAA Division II Midwest Region Coach of the Year for those two years. In between coaching at Moody, Coach Choy was the Assistant Varsity Girls Volleyball Coach at Warren Township High School in Gurnee, IL, and helped lead the team to a 75-35 record over three seasons, and a 30-9 record for 2018 and a regional championship title. 

A former collegiate player, Coach Choy has been involved with competitive volleyball for over 30 years including 15 years coaching at all levels.  He's been a head coach for juniors club volleyball for over 10 years, most recently at Sky High Volleyball – a large club in the Chicago area. Coach Choy is also a certified USAV referee, and a collegiate volleyball official.

In his professional/ministry life, Coach Choy is a marketing executive, entrepreneur, and strategic business and marketing advisor with over 30 years of experience in corporate America.  He currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer at Moody Bible Institute where he leads a group of dedicated marketing professionals in helping grow Moody Bible Institute’s impact for the Kingdom.  In his "spare time" Coach Choy is an adjunct faculty at Moody teaching business-related courses in the undergraduate school.
