Coach Scott Optimistic Despite 103 - 56 Loss Against Indiana Kokomo

The Moody Bible Institute Archers came into their Saturday night game against Indiana University Kokomo expecting a challenge. Coach Scott voiced his admiration for the teams' determination while facing a difficult team, especially during the second half. "I liked how we didn't surrender and gave a solid effort in the second half", Coach Scott said, "We are most likely not going to face a team with the kind of overall skill and athleticism that we faced today for the rest of the season. It was a good learning experience for our guys. We need to learn how to handle adversity and use this to make us stronger as a group going forward".

The Archers had some strong free-throw shooters, making 16 of their 21 total shots.

Sophmore LJ Linder (10) led the Archers with 21 of their points, while  Senior Aaron Roser (23) shot and scored 20 for the Archers.

Senior Trey Haidle (3) fought for 8 of the defensive rebounds against Kokomo.

Next Friday and Saturday the Archers will host the Big Four Tournament with Fontbonne University, North Park (Chicago) University, and Lincoln Christian University.

Let's Go Archers!
