CHICAGO, Ill.-- No. 10 ranked Maranatha wasted no time tonight as they quickly swept Moody 3-0. 

Arielle Henkel dominated the front line for the Sabercats, finishing with 16 kills out of 21 attacks to give her a hitting percentage of .619 on the night.

STORY 

Maranatha was a little short-handed coming into tonight's match as they were missing multiple players due to injury and illness. Although the usual lineup required some tweaking, the Sabercats did not let it affect them. The Archers, who have also been struggling with injuries this year, had two more players than they had the last time they saw Maranatha on October 7th, when they were left with only six girls. 

Still, this was no help to Moody, who seemed to struggle immensely with errors on the night. Between hitting, serving, and receiving, the Archers raked up 33 errors. Compared to the Sabercats' 11 errors on the night, it was no surprise that Maranatha was able to pull off the win as easily as they did. 

Moody put up a little bit of a fight in the first set, losing 25-16. But the next two sets were ones they would like to forget as they fell to Maranatha 25-5 and 25-3. 

The Sabercats once again had an excellent night at the serving line. They finished with 15 aces, led by Sarah Nason and Megan Miller who had five and four respectively.
